SORRY FULLY BOOKED. Probably the most walked and best loved track on Waiheke. Walk it with the locals and get the full story – the history, the views, the birds and the bees.
This walk is the first half of an all day walk. It will take approximately 3.5 hours and finish up in Oneroa. If you intend to continue on with the Oneroa to Matiatia West, you have a half hour break for lunch in the village.
You may not want to walk all day. You might like to divert to the famous Mudbrick restaurant and vineyard for wine tastings and/or lunch. Surrounded by lavender their potager is a work of art. There will be a sign pointing the way to Mudbrick, a ten minute walk, as you near the end of this walk. If Oneroa is your target call into Fenice cafe for a spot of lunch.
