What an astounding second year we had in 2011, all the walks were completely booked out. You asked for more walks and a longer festival so we are working towards a fantastic spring festival. Every year will offer something new and, being Waiheke, perhaps a little quirky too!
For this year the festival remains at nine days long and while we have retained many of last year’s very popular routes we will have lots of new and exciting walks, guest guides and surprises on offer.
Put the Waiheke Walking Festival on your ‘Bucket List’. Plan to come and stay over, lose yourself here but be careful Waiheke is a way of life – you might never leave! Share suppers with walkers from all over the world, chat to celebrities on the walks enjoy being an accidental explorer.
