We are so excited to announce that the 2015 Waiheke Walking Festival programme has now been finalised and is live on our brand new website . A huge thank you to Neal Ghoshal of Sacred Moves, and Philippa Nielsen too, for making the website look fantastic as well as being so much easier to navigate and use on all your electronic devices big and small.

Please do let us know what you think of it and any issues you may come across – we want you to be able to find all the information you need as simply and quickly as possible.

You will also find on the website the electronic version of our beautiful brochure for this year – 15,000 of these are being printed as I type so look out for these at a spot near you and do let us know of places that may like to stock them. Another big thank you to Megan Clark of The Desktop Company who created such an awesome brochure and to Peter Rees Photgraphy for the gorgeous images.

You will see from the programme that we have a fantastic line up of 46 walks to entice you to take part this year, a few oldies-but-goodies and a heap of new walks and topics.

We will, of course, all have our own ideas of the ‘must-do’s’ – which is what makes this Festival so wonderful. There really is plenty on offer for everyone and on many of the days you will wish you could be in more than one place at once – have fun choosing, good luck with that I say 😉

I know you will all be really keen to make your walk bookings so be sure to mark 1 October in your diaries as this is when general bookings will open. For those of you who can’t wait and are able to assist us with some financial support, Friends of the Festival registrations are now open. For a minimum $50 donation you will receive advance bookings for five walks which we know will help with travel and accommodation plans and bookings and will ensure you won’t miss out on your favourite walks.

Speaking of travel and accommodation – see below for some great deals on offer to our Waiheke Walking Festival visitors, thanks so much Fullers, Sealink and Stay Waiheke.

Happy programme circling and of course happy walking everyone, looking forward to receiving all your registrations.

Take care and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
