Well, after many busy months working quietly behind the scenes we are absolutely thrilled to announce this year’s programme which is now live on the website.
We are immensely proud of this programme – a record fifty walks, most of them new, lots of private land walks and definitely something for everyone of all ages, interests and fitness levels.
We know without a doubt that there will be groans from many of you that there are simply too many good ones and not enough time to do them all – what a lovely predicament to have 🙂
As always, registrations will open on 1 October and the particularly popular walks will book out soon after. My recommendation, put a reminder in your phone and get in early – or better yet, why don’t you become a Friend of the Festival and get five early-bird registrations, a ticket to our ever popular Fullers Festival Finale BBQ at the gorgeous Rorohara Pie Melon Bay property AND help ensure the Festival can continue. It’s a total win/win and only $50.
Check out the rest of the newsletter for information about our four day, 100km Te Ara Hura walk – proudly supported by Oxfam Trailwalker – absolutely the perfect training for their next event in March 2017.
We could also really do with some support creating our electronic walk route maps this year and would love to hear from you if you think you may be able to help.
Thanks everyone for your patience, have lots of fun reviewing the programme and hope to see plenty of Friends of the Festival registrations coming through.
Happy walking and best wishes to all of you,
