Our Walking Guides and Ambassadors
In 2012 we welcome new guest guides Bruce Plested, Janet Hunt, Rosie Walford, Helen Elscot, Wayne Carlson, Sonya Veldhuizen, Chris Palmer, Barbara Disley, Gavin Oliver and Jeremy Zinzan.
All our guides and walking ambassadors are volunteers and either live and work on Waiheke Island or they have a close affiliation to and love for the island.

AWARD AND PRIZES WERE PRESENTED AT WAIHEKE COMMUNITY ART GALLERY FRIDAY 16 NOVEMBER. The Goldie Award: A photography competition will run throughout the festival. The Goldie Award has been specially commissioned by The Goldie Room and The Goldie Vineyard and is accompanied by a cash prize of $250.
Exhibition: A selection of photos submitted will be on exhibition in the Small Gallery at the Waiheke Community Art Gallery 16 November to 10 December. Prizes awarded at the opening night on Friday evening 16 November. All photos submitted are eligible for The Goldie Award.
