Walk on the wild side!
With the kind permission of property owners Kirstie and Hinrich, we’d love you to join us for a stunning hike through private land and the site of the released kiwi, traversing pristine bush, wetlands, and coastal farmland.
Te Korowai o Waiheke will also be there to answer any questions about the stoat trapping efforts on the island, that have made the introduction of kiwi a possibility.
*Kiwi’s are nocturnal birds, so won’t be seen during daylight hours*
The price includes a return charter bus and a $20 donation to Save The Kiwi.
