Exciting News for the 2017 Festival

As you will have seen in our newly updated logo, we are thrilled to announce Ray White Waiheke as presenting partner of the Waiheke Walking Festival. This is a three year partnership, and it is fantastic to have the support of a local business that shares our love of walking, and has strong connections with the community.

Media release for the newly formed Waiheke Walking Trust

The Waiheke Walking Trust has been established to deliver the annual Waiheke Walking Festival and ensure its ongoing success and popularity; as well as promoting walking on Waiheke all year round.

Denise Whitfield, Festival organizer for the past four years says: “I’m delighted that the Waiheke Walking Trust have acquired the Walking Festival. The new Trust will provide strong governance and financial support to an event that has grown year on year.”
