The downloadable printable brochure

You can download to view online, or print out, our A4 colour brochure. If you have a copy already, please discard and download the current A4 from the website. There have been a few changes to times and dates, so we want you on the same page as us! Click HERE to download from our website home page.

We are so happy to welcome Postage Stamp Wines as our newest major sponsor.

They say “Our team at Obsidian and Postage Stamp Wines are thrilled to be involved with the Walking Festival. This is a great way to enjoy all aspects of Waiheke while helping support this wonderful community event.”

We’ve created a stunning new walk to celebrate Postage Stamp Wines, ending with a tasting experience at their new tasting room.

Postage Stamp Wines Coast to Vines Walk – Saturday 19th of November 1pm – 5.30pm

Start in Rocky Bay and walk up through beautiful Whakanewha Regional Park, and down past vineyards with wonderful views, to cross the wetlands and arrive in the vines at Waiheke’s newest wine tasting experience. Enjoy a relaxed vineyard tour, delicious wine tasting with Charlotte Lockhart and her team at Postage Stamp Wines.
Everyone has 6 walk spots they can use to book walks

You might choose to book six walks for just you, or book one walk for you and five friends! Or any other combination.

Remember, there are a few events and the self-guided walks you can register for that will not use any of your walk spots. These include the Whakatau, our festival opening ceremony with Ngāti Pāoa and the local board, which everyone is welcome to attend.

Also, the wonderful Astronz and Dark Sky Waiheke night sky viewing. You may register to do the walk and viewing (this uses a walk spot) or register to just view the night sky – this does not use a walk spot, as it’s not a walk! Look for these on Nov 10th and Nov 12th respectively.

It’s only 6 weeks until the Walking Festival begins! Don’t forget we have a wonderful training programme written especially for the Festival by our Festival ambassador and Island fitness guru Sarah Gloyer. Click HERE to see how to get fit in time for your walks.
