This is a special walk led by Ngāti Pāoa.

With the kind permission of Lady Jennie Fenwick, we are fortunate to have Harley Wade and Blair Anderson, the nephews of the late Kaumatua George Kahi, who will guide us on a memorial hikoi for their uncle, and for the late Sir Rob Fenwick and Harriata Gordon, to the Pā site.

Price includes a $15 premium walk fee and koha for Ngāti Pāoa, and an optional two-way charter bus for $40 is available. (Book below).

Te Matuku with Ngāti Pāoa Walk – Two-way Charter Bus

This is the two-way bus option ... this ticket will get you to the walk & back again. The bus leaves Matiatia, you can board there or at Oneroa, Surfdale shops, Ostend shops or Onetangi Residents Hall to reach the Te Matuku. The return leaves Te Matuku at .....pm, stopping at Onetangi Residents Hall, Ostend shops, Surfdale shops, Oneroa and Matiatia.
