Overview
Just arrive and let us organise a wonderful 3 days of walking for you.

Join a group of fellow walkers, staying at the lovely and relaxed Kiwi House in Oneroa, and enjoy daily walks with the group, for three fun-filled, active days on gorgeous Waiheke Island. Group size limited to 12 people max.

The package includes 2 nights accommodation with breakfast, 2 picnic-style lunches and 1 winery platter lunch, all transport to and from walk start and finish points, ferry pick up and drop off, and a host each day to help you enjoy your 3 days of walking adventures. (Does not include ferry tickets or dinners).

Walks will range in time and grade, but a moderate level of fitness is required as Waiheke is very hilly. Most walks involve some bush or coastal tracks that have steeper sections and/or stairs. The final day has a small section that we call the ‘rope-assisted’ climb – fun walking with some good challenging sections.

Price for a double room with en-suite is $650 per person, based on double occupancy.
Price for a twin room with a shared bathroom is $590 per person, based on double occupancy.

Please select from the options below when you book.

Please email us directly if you wish to book for single occupancy, single supplement applies. Single occupancy of a double room with ensuite is $1,160 and single occupancy of a twin room with shared bathroom is $1,050.

14th November

Catch the 9am ferry from the city. Be met at 9.40am and begin your walk guided around the stunning coast south via Church Bay Bay and Park Point.  Lots of steps and hills, but the views and experience is worth every climb. Stop en-route to enjoy your (supplied) picnic lunch and soak up some serenity. You will continue your walk around this stunning coastline, and arrive at your accommodation at Kiwi House, where your rooms and luggage are waiting. Choose to join fellow walkers for dinner, or do your own thing. Approx. 14km of walking.

15th November

Leave from Kiwi House after a delicious breakfast to join in the fun and companionship of 2 different festival walks today, that will be chosen for you to offer variety and experience. These walks are still to be confirmed, but rest assured it will be a fun day, and you’ll just need to wake up, strap on your shoes and enjoy the day. Approx. 10km walking.

16th November

Enjoy breakfast at Kiwi House, then be transported to the beautiful Onetangi Beach. Join other festival walkers and venture from here up to Trig Hill to meet the Te Ara Hura trail, and complete this stunning 10km section – a very challenging day, that includes some good hills and the infamous ‘rope-assisted climb’. Finish with delicious rewards (a lunch platter and wine) at Passage Rock Winery. You’ll be transported directly from here back to the ferry where we will bid you farewell after a fabulous 3 days of walks.

Please note, apologies this is not a Free Event, and the prices stated are for 2 people, not per person as it says – it’s just a little tricky to change our website codes to present the correct pricing alternatives for this walk! The walking map below, and selected tracks are subject to change without notice, but will be fabulous anyway!
