Overview
A stunning and challenging 12 km hike that heads south from the ferry and follows the coastal track around the southwest peninsula known as Te Roreomaiaea (Park Point).
This is a challenging walk, lots of steps and a bit of rock scrambling, but worth every climb. Bring some substantial snacks and a light picnic, and finish with a huge treat at the end – a sausage sizzle on the lawn of our very own Sir Graham and Lady Raewyn Henry’s, to go with your BYO picnic!
The price includes a sausage, beverage and a bus back to the ferry at 3.30pm.
