Overview
Expect wet feet and challenging terrain. This is not for the faint-hearted - MAKE TRACKS has a way of getting you lost and found again!

This is a special Festival treat, this time on stunning private land somewhere near Orapui. A compulsory bus as the start point is a mystery! BYO picnic and wine. Listen to confessions of ex-parks and recreation guru Gary Wilton, from his upcoming book ‘A slip in Barebottom land’. Join Gary in his Happy Place!  $35 includes two-way charter bus.

Getting to the walk start: the charter bus will start at Matiatia and make stops at Oneroa, Surfdale, Ostend and Onetangi Residents Hall before heading to the walk start. For the return the charter bus will the same stops before ending at Matiatia Ferry Terminal.

Note: If travelling from Auckland city, you’ll need to catch the 7am ferry.
