Overview
A Festival double whammy. A brand new walk for 2023, for those who like to explore uncharted territory!

With huge thanks to Major Sponsor, Make Tracks founder Gary Wilton, (also a founder of the Walking Festival btw) and thanks to the kind permission of Man O’ War Vineyards, we are excited to offer a hike across private land at the far eastern end of Waiheke Island. For those who like something a bit different and a bit rugged, this is land that has never been walked over.

This walk is graded 7 out of 10. This means the route has a lot of unformed tracks, possibly narrow or muddy stretches and steep sections. Please choose walks you are comfortable with and if you are booking for others, check with them too. Thanks.

A shuttle bus add-on is available transport is required. Cost of $40 return. Please add when you book the walk if required. Parking is available at the tasting rooms at Man O’ War Bay. There is no public transport available for this walk.

Price includes a $15 premium walk fee and GST.
