Overview
A gentle food inspired walk taking in the Esplanade food forest, Blackpool beach, Oneroa village and back for a delicious shared lunch at Waiheke's Rescue Food Kai Cafe.

This walk explores a community garden by the sea with a loop through the little village of Oneroa, calling into The Island Grocer to get a taste of some delicious local produce and their very own home made freshly baked bread.  Then back to the Kai Cafe to enjoy a locally themed lunch.  Kathy Voyles heads up the Rescue Food Kai Conscious Cafe, has done umpteen cooking courses all over the world and believes that sharing a plate of good food can change the world, one plate at a time. The walk will feature gentle hills, but is mainly flat and fairly easy.

The walk is free but a koha toward the community gardens will be greatly appreciated.
