This walk starts at wonderful new The HEKE, and walks through the stunning wetlands, across the lesser-known tracks of the Onetangi Sports Park and with the generous permission of landowners Mark and Roanne Izzard, we traverse their beautiful native bush, and then join Musson Track, and loop back to The HEKE Kitchen and Garden Bar for beer and whisky tastings and shared grazing platters.
The World Cup Rugby final is 8am … this walk starts at 10.30am (meet time 10.15am).
Price includes tastings and food (1pm – 3pm), premium walk fee of $17 and GST.
This walk is graded 7 out of 10. This means the route has a lot of unformed tracks, possibly narrow or muddy stretches and steep sections. Please choose walks you are comfortable with and if you are booking for others, check with them too. Thanks.
