Begin this wonderful walk with stunning Church Bay coastal vistas, we cross through Atawhai Whenua (a Forest and Bird Reserve) and follow the track toward where the Sculpture on the Gulf takes place (coming 2024). We arrive at the Lewenz Gallery. Meet international abstract painter Gabriella Lewenz and experience her beautiful handbuilt earthbrick studio gallery. Continue through this picturesque part of the island, and drop in to see respected figurative sculptor Olivier Duhamel in his working studio.
End the walk back in Oneroa Village at the Community Art Gallery. The Gallery is offering a free glass of wine to participants and a sneak preview into what the 2024 Sculpture on the Gulf will look like.
