Overview
Explore the stunning Te Whau coastal tracks, beaches known only to the locals, and beautiful Hitapa Bay, Okoka Bay and Kuakarau Reserve.

Join this challenging walk and our friends from Ecopod for this fabulous loop walk through the lesser-known tracks in this gorgeous part of the Island. We’ll look out for native birds and sealife, and might also spot the Ecopods on Vintage Lane. (Architectural and eco-friendly transportable buildings)!

This is a fabulous free walk, for walkers looking for a challenge.

This walk is graded 7 out of 10. This means the route has some unformed tracks, possibly narrow or muddy stretches and steep sections. Also this walk is designed for people who like to keep up a good pace! Please choose walks you are comfortable with and if you are booking for others, check with them too. Thanks.
