This incredibly special walk is back on the Festival Calendar due to the generosity of Bruce Plested. Rorowhara’s gates will once again open, enabling you to walk through hidden glades and ford small streams to reach this twinkling display. Bring a torch or headlamp and wrap up warm. Indulge in a hot chocolate to keep warm which is included in the ticket price.
Please note there is a minimum age of 7 years of age on this walk. It is dark and torches are required. Each child must be accompanied by a dedicated adult. [There are steep climbs and potentially slippery parts.]
This walk is graded 6 out of 10. This means the route can include unformed tracks, possibly narrow or muddy stretches and steep sections. Please choose walks you are comfortable with and if you are booking for others, check with them too. Thanks.
