Day 3 – Rocky Bay to Orapiu RdÂ
Experience the southern shores and some of the real Waiheke heading toward Rangihoua and experience breathtakingly beautiful views in all directions. Ascend through the fabulous Whakanewha Regional Park to Trig Hill, and then begin the tougher bush section of Te Ara Hura, with absolutely spectacular views and lots of ups and downs through Awaawaroa and Passage Rock. Today includes the notorious “rope-assisted climb”.
