Overview
Join our friends from Dark Sky - Waiheke Island and the Auckland Astronomical Society who will proudly showcase the night sky for an eighth year, sharing an astronomical night time adventure! Walk from the Piritahi Marae, along the Blackpool Esplanade where you will take a journey through time and space looking at your local night sky.

Finish the walk with our wonderful experts and their fabulous telescopic equipment. Be sure to prepare for your adventure – red light headlamps, sturdy shoes, warm clothing, confidence and your imagination.

BRING: A sense of wonder (and a torch as the sealed road is uneven in parts, especially in darkness!).
