Overview
A private land stunner, and Festival FIRST! Come join us on this very special walk and visit Waiheke's very own secret wonderland.
With huge thanks to Major Sponsor, Make Tracks founder Gary Wilton, (also a founder of the Walking Festival btw) and for the very kind permission of the landowners Richard and Kirsty, we are excited to announce another FESTIVAL FIRST!
With the resemblance of a secret wonderland (and an area covering the size of Omiha and Te Whau combined), you’ll be amazed at the beauty of valley and vista. An ABSOLUTE Festival MUST DO!  Bring a BYO picnic to enjoy in the spectacular setting.

A return charter bus is included in the price, and pick up (and drop off) will be at these 5-locations Matiatia, Oneroa Red Cross (stop 1155), Surfdale shops, Ostend Woolworths and  Onetangi – Third Ave.

Price also includes our premium walk fee of $25 and GST.

This walk is graded 7 out of 10. This means the route is mostly unformed and is tricky underfoot with prolonged steep hills – but well worth the effort. Please choose walks you are comfortable with and if you are booking for others, check with them too. Thanks.

Please arrive well-hydrated with a large bottle of water to drink en-route.  Dehydration can seriously impact your health and enjoyment, particularly in hot and sunny conditions.
