This guided walk winds high above the bays, serving up jaw-dropping views across the sparkling Hauraki Gulf, with plenty of postcard moments along the way. It’s a hilly route with a good number of steps, so expect a bit of puff and pant — but the rewards are more than worth it. Along the way, you’ll discover native bush, keep an eye out for dolphins out at sea and visit McKenzie Reserve, where inspiring restoration work is bringing the landscape back to life.
