Overview

Starting at Rocky Bay, you will walk parts of the southern coastline before making your way along the Awaawaroa Estuary, up through private land being nurtured by Awaawaroa eco-village residents, and finishing at award-winning Poderi Crisci Vineyard for a fantastic lunch in Poderi Crisci's cellar.

This walk is a Festival favourite, so get in quick!

Please note a one-way charter bus and fabulous lunch including a welcome drink on arrival at Poderi Crisci is included in this package price of $80pp. (Also includes $10 premium walk fee).

Lunch is from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.

The charter bus (included with your ticket) will leave Poderi Crisci at 4:00pm.

Charter bus information
One-way charter bus from Poderi Crisci to Matiatia Ferry Terminal via Onetangi, Rocky Bay, Ostend, Surdale and Oneroa. Departs Poderi Crisci at 4:00pm after lunch. Please note there is no public bus available from Poderi Crisci so if you do not wish to use the charter bus, you will need to make alternative arrangements.
