The Waiheke Walking Festival relies on grants and sponsorship to make it happen each year, yet we still run at a loss.
The Friends membership fee is $150 (plus booking fee), to help improve the long term financial stability of the Festival. We limit the number to 100, so we can offer some benefits. As a thank you, we give you 10 walking spots (only 6 for the general public).
And – Friends receive the opportunity to book early*. Bookings for the general public go live on 16th September 2024. Friends can book on 2nd September. This gives you a great opportunity to book the walks you want.
