The Waiheke Walking Festival relies on grants and sponsorship to make it happen each year, yet we still run at a loss.
The Friends membership fee is $150 (plus booking fee), to help improve the long term financial stability of the Festival. We limit the number to 100, so we can offer some benefits. As a thank you, we give you 10 walking spots (only 6 for the general public).
And – Friends receive the opportunity to book early*. Bookings for the general public go live on Sunday 5th October. Friends can book on Sunday 21st September. This gives you a great opportunity to book the walks you want.
We sincerely thank you for your support.

Every step we take is made possible by the generosity of people. Walk Waiheke is proudly supported by a wonderful community of sponsors, funders and supporters who share our passion for walking, our island and its people.
