Overview
Picture this - you're lost, alone and miles from the nearest coffee shop. Night is falling, your phone is dead, you're out of water and the weather is looking grim.

What do you do? Given that about 80% of Search and Rescue missions in NZ are for people who went on a simple day hike, knowing how to deal with the unexpected when it happens can mean the difference between life and death. This walk is about what to do- and what not to do- when the unexpected happens. This is not a Bear Grylls bug-eating experience. It is about building your confidence and bush know-how. Join Richard Margesson for this Festival first.

Sleeping bag optional!
